Designed the Early Voices project which was a collaborative exhibition involving 17 early education schools in Broward County, Florida. The project brought attention to the value of arts and creative expression for 3-5-year-old classrooms in the county. Integrating literacy along with STEAM instructional approaches and curriculum, 415 young students collaborated to create 25 unique art pieces using the theme of kindness as their inspiration. Artwork was available for viewing by the community in an exhibition that premiered during National Association for the Education of Young Children’s (NAEYC) Week of the Young Child. Exhibit remained on view for a month and was attended by hundreds of people. The opening event included student artists and families as well as attendance by supportive early education organization leaders, city representatives, and a special declaration by dignitaries of Broward County. The participating schools received new books to add to their school libraries continuing their love of reading and work in the arts. This was a first-of-its-kind in the South Florida early education community. Unveiling in 2019. Project continues yearly and remains funded by supporting foundation.
